I made all these 5 mistakes… 😬 This ballet dance artwork of coconut charcoal, acrylic and oil painting on canvas shares my love of dance and nature in one piece of art. However, as with everything I do, I make mistakes. There’s no point sweating the small stuff. Yes, I’d probably freak out then laugh if I spilt a bottle of paint all over my ballerina artwork. Though, I’m not worried of the pink that is lighter than I planned, one line isn’t perfectly neat on a butterfly eye, the shadows are a bit wide on a wing, a brush mark is seen within the dress, the highlights are quite bright on one butterfly. How I created the artwork is as much about how I feel emotionally and physically at the time as it is the skill I’ve developed and showcase. This dancer artwork has more than 5 little “mistakes” if I really count them up, but I love them all and think it adds to the creation.
