And since it’s one of our family’s favorite brunch treats, it’s one that I love to make again and again! Although it is sweet enough to be a fall dessert, since it’s monkey bread and there are apples in it, we often enjoy it as a fall breakfast and brunch recipe. And when I say there are apples in it, I don’t say that lightly. This autumn monkey bread has 3 cups of cinnamon apple goodness that you’ve got to try! And to top it off, a homemade cream cheese frosting. Because every good sweet monkey bread needs an extra sweet topping! I had such a fun and tasty time developing this fall monkey bread recipe in 2021, almost as much fun as Roger and I had eating it.
