I did this and have left it like this for 2 years… Now my whole nail is almost gone and it’s so bad but I can’t keep covering it with acrylic… I’m terrified bc I cannot let ppl see this so idk

Literally happened to me…so what I would rec. is once you come bac from vacay cut off the acrylic treat your foot fungus I did like some vinegar baking soda remedy I found online, just let it grow out

My bestie is a nail tech — she said to watch for lifting as you don’t want the extra moisture to sit in and potentially make it worse.

Girl I broke my toe in half years ago, I put acrylic on it & it grew back fast… never got fungus. Make sure the nail shops you go to bleach the tub before you use it! That’s what I do

Personally that makes it worst. I had this happen to me. You need to get rid of that first all the way and get your nails cut low instead of having long toe nails.

I've been going though this for a year now. get rid of the acrylic, see a podiatrist for a prescription nail polish. it's a slow process but works.

Learn from me 😭 same thing happened to me. See a podiatrist. Or look up pedicure techs that use kerryflex or builder gel something flexible and remove the polish every 4 wks to check the nail

Please see a podiatrist if you can to test for fungus and get prescription treatment! If it’s true nail fungus it does not go away from just cutting the nail, applying acrylic on top will look nice but the fungus won’t be gone. Also sanitize your shoes, fungus lives in everything you wear on your feet and you can keep getting it. 🥲

Just use regular polish if u must. Mine took about 3 months to completely heal.

lol I have this and have had it for 6 years it never goes and acrylic has been a life saver for me to cover it up. ps yes I have left it for months treating it and it won't go.

girl i had this on one of my big toes i went to get acrylic on it too and when i went to get another pedi the fungus grew under the acrylic so i removed the acrylic went to a podiatrist and he removed

I’ve taken three months of lamisil and now I’m using the fungal polish daily. Remove the acrylic.
