Let me know what you think of this one, Game of Thrones! Now I know a lot of you (including myself), weren't happy with the final few seasons of the show, but MY GOODNESS. What a Spectacular 5 seasons we had! Season 6 was okay, but let's not talk about 7 and 8. I think this was peak Golden Era Television. I can't even called it a TV Show. It was something else. It was absolutely magnificent, but unlike the the beautiful creators pre 2010. Greed over Legacy. I cannot forgive David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for ruining this once in a lifetime story, for their own corporate greed. Now we may not know what happened behinds the scenes. But we do know that HBO gave them money for a few more seasons. I mean...IT WAS THE NUMBER ONE SHOW WORLDWIDE! How do you just forsake this Legacy Building Project, for a potential star wars movie? Don't get me started on that little scenario. I mean look at Breaking Bad, even till this day. We still talk about how amazing it was, and then they came out with Better Call Saul! Now, the full blame isn't on them. The great and honorable George RR Martin must also take some blame. While I feel that they did rush through the content and accelerated the events GRRM was expected by his own admission to have finished at least one of the books before then. I agree GRRM definitely gets some blame here. However he did offer to help them finish the series. He may have hoped that the TV show would provide some closure for himself, since the book may not ever be finished. However I only give him 5% blame. I blame DnD for not just sticking with it. Throwing everything out for a potential contract with Disney. 3 Body Problem isn't bad either, but once again. It's not them creating the content. They're just adapters. They're not creators, and hopefully they don't butch this either. #Gameofthrones #HouseoftheDragon #Cinema #film #JonSnow #Targaryen #DaenerysTargaryen
