@heresyourbite: One-Pan Creamy Pea and Bacon Ditalini 🤩 #partnershipwithblacklabelbacon It comes together in less than 30 minutes, it’s incredibly delicious, and it has the perfect amount of savoriness with @BLACK LABEL®️ bacon Here’s how to make it: 8 slices HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Bacon 1 shallot, diced Red pepper flakes, to taste 6 cloves garlic, minced 3 cups chicken broth (have extra on hand if needed) Salt, to taste 1/2 cup heavy cream (plus another ¼ cup if needed) 1 lb ditalini pasta 1 cup frozen peas, to taste 1 cup freshly grated parmesan, to taste 1 tbsp butter Freshly cracked black pepper 1. Cook your bacon in a large saute pan until crispy. Remove from the pan and drain most of the grease. Crumble your bacon and set aside. 2. Reduce heat to low. Add in your shallot and red pepper flakes, saute for 3-4 minutes. Add in your garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. 3. Pour in your chicken broth and a pinch of salt. Stir and scrape up the brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Add in ½ cup cream and bring to a simmer. 4. Pour in your uncooked pasta. Stir, cover, and simmer until al dente. About 10 minutes. 5. Once your pasta is al dente, add in your crumbled bacon, frozen peas, butter, and parmesan. Stir to combine. Taste for seasonings and add in the remaining cream, if needed. 6. Serve and top with extra crumbled bacon and parmesan. Enjoy! imo, cool the pasta separately and add it in when cooked with desired amount of pasta water. it's looks a bit chalky from too much starch
