(We can see that when John is reading UnOrdinary, a book about a superhero who does good for all and he says “I understand what my dad is trying to tell me, but i cant be like him” HE BELIVES THIS PINICAL OF GOOD IS WHAT HIS DAD IS.) and william even with all of John’s hardships is always so fing loving to John. He dosent care about what John has done, only cares about John himself. And even in the scene where they are sparring Seraphina mentions that this is the happiest she has seen John since so long. William was the only one who truly, unconditionally cared for John and John loved him back too.
