@allspiceandbouquetgarni: Yesterday i whipped up a mouth watering called Laing,one of the delicacies of my hometown Bicol, Philippines.For those who are not familiar with it LAING is made with Dried/Fresh taro leaves, slowly cooked in coconut milk/ cream. It’s a popular dish in the Philippines. We had the best, the biggest top producer of taro in the Philippines. Our crops were grown in the most fertile soil in the world, thanks to the ashes from our beloved Mayon Volcano! Truly miss my hometown! P.S. Im so happy i was able to grow my own Taro and Chili Peppers in our backyard!
