Aliens might be the most enjoyable, but Alien is cinematically the best movie. So many clever directorial choices. Then Ridley Scott got high on his own self importance and made Prometheus 🤣

I disagree with this. He gets most of the focus at the beginning for obvious reasons. But The movie is about the crew with no clear protagonist. Until it wasn’t.

Ripley wasn’t the lead in the sequel either. Ripley and Hicks were both in charge and they depended on each other.

Yeah I don't think I really realized through the beginning it doesn't focus fully on Ripley. It's like the crew as a whole, then one less, than one more, until leaving Ripley the lone protagonist.
