Why allowed to leave? Aren’t you highly likely to get infections once water breaks so you need to be admitted? This happened to me I was admitted right away.

In Sweden they don’t want us to leave and really don’t recommend it if the water goes. Not only the risk for infection but also for the umbilical cord slip it a bit if you are dilated and get pinched

Called my Dr. at 10pm, he said first time mom probably Braxton Hicks go back to bed. Even with an injection to slow labor it was 1hr between first contraction and holding baby lol

What's hilarious is this is pretty much what happened to me. First time mom, family history of long labours. From first contraction to delivery was 7 minutes. My sister delivered my son.

I went into labor 5 weeks early on Labor Day weekend. My husband had enjoyed a few too many beers, so I had to drive to the hospital. 🙄😳🤦♀️
