my cat does this whenever he wears a collar, really wish there was more options for cats other than collars because im worried my cat could escape and be considered stray

There’s different levels you can set that collar to for the breakaway feature. When it first arrives it comes on the strongest strength there is. We use the middle and have had no problems with it. In fact today we found it had broken off on a gate.

I use tractive as well but i took off the rubber and put it on a seperate collar, cause i noticed it wasnt breaking away as easily as needed. My worst fear is one of my babies getting hung

I just use a small dog collar cause my cat just pulls the break away collar

the collar is too loose. I had this happen when first putting collars on my cats. a few adjustments later and we're good. Also testing the collar to see how easily it pulls apart is good too. Not all break-away collars are made the same.

you can get one that clips ,my cats lost them imediatelly which means great breakaway collars haha

Did you set it at the right weight level? I only use these collars and have had no issues, so could just be a defect one 😭

why would you want a permanent collar ring around ur pretty kittys neck. their sensitive ears dont want to ear that jingle 25/8 especially when theyre trying to stay silent if they are semi outdoor cats
