Puff Pastry Witch Hats 🧙🏻‍♀️ These Witch Hats aren't just for casting spells; they're for enchanting taste buds! A bewitchingly delicious creation that combines puff pastry, cheesy allure, and a hint of spooky fun. Serve them up, and watch your guests be spellbound! 🕸️ Ingredients: For the Cones •1 phyllo pastry sheet •1 egg, lightly beaten •⅓ cup black sesame seeds •2 slices of cheddar cheese, cut into ½"-¾" wide by 6" long strips •2 tablespoons softened cream cheese For the Filling: •1 cup softened cream cheese •1 cup shredded cheddar cheese •2 chopped jalapeño peppers, finely diced (you can replace with green pepper if you don't like jalapeños) •1 tbsp paprika powder •1 tsp garlic powder •Salt and pepper to taste Method: 1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 2.Unroll the phyllo pastry sheet and cut out 5 circles using a 3-inch round cookie cutter, as well as 5 triangles. 3.Wrap the dough triangles around metal cream horn forms to create the pointed hats. 4.Brush the cones and dough circles with beaten egg, then roll them in sesame seeds. 5.Place them on a parchment-lined baking pan. 6.Refrigerate for 20 minutes, then bake for 6-8 minutes until they turn deep golden brown. 7.Allow the cones to cool for about 5 minutes, then carefully remove them from the cream horn forms. 8.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeño peppers (or green pepper), paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 9.Fill each cone with the cream cheese filling. 10.Use cream cheese to attach each cone to a round. 11.Wrap a strip of cheese around the base of each cone and attach it using cream cheese. Enjoy your Puff Pastry Witch Hats!. #halloween #appetizer #puffpastry
