I hate that she’s had to go through this for so long! 😞 backstory ::: For the last several years, Kay has struggled with her health. She has a condition where her body doesn’t know what parts are good and what parts are bad, and often her body reacts as if she was sick! 😞Sometimes it gets better, like when she was pregnant! Actually, Ellie protected Kay from her own body because Kay’s body naturally brought down its own defenses to grow Ellie! Now that she has had Elliott, her body is back to how it was before, well actually it’s worse because she is postpartum… She has struggled for the last few months, and hasn’t found a solution yet to feel better. I always feel so bad for Kay because this is something that you can’t see, only feel, so kay always feels like she has to justify herself to people when talking about her health. She shouldn’t have to defend herself when she is feeling so bad. I wish there wasn’t a stigma for people who suffer from autoimmune conditions, that it’s all in their heads, it clearly isn’t and that opinion leaves so many people alone, and hurting. It is an invisible condition because you are affected on the inside, but rarely show anything on the outside of your body. It’s also not understood by many, and so people can feel alone when they have it. Kay has done so amazing with being the best mother/wife despite how horrible she feels each day!
