@heydrrob: Are you lost in the gym ‼️ This should help… Are you going to the gym just randomly without a plan? Picking up weights and throwing them around and not really knowing what you’re doing? Well, you may hurt yourself. You’re really not doing much good. Let me show you three great upper body moves that you can start doing this week to really improve your fitness. The first exercise is called the IYT. It’s great for your upper back and posture. Go into this position. You really don’t need much weight for this. Go up with your thumbs for an I, control down. Go up again for a Y, control down. Go out to the side for a T, control down. Do two to three sets for about 15 reps. The second exercise is the incline press. When you have an incline press, it pulls you back into a better position for your shoulders and really activates more pec or chest muscle. What I want you to do is kick the weight to one shoulder, kick the other weight to the other shoulder, fall back into the bench, pull your shoulder blades back and down, keep your head on the bench, drive up, tighten your core, retract, pull the dumbbell down, get a nice stretch, hold, and repeat. Do two to three sets, 12 to 15 reps, or until you’re tired. The third exercise is a chest-supported incline row. Get into this position, tighten your core, retract, don’t shrug, pull your shoulder blades back and down, pull the dumbbells until you hit the bench. You’ll be in a perfect position there. Lower down, slow and controlled, retract, pull to the bench, lower down slow and controlled. Do two to three sets, 12 to 15 reps, or until you’re tired. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Questions?
