@beautymarkcoven: I love this client so much, not only is she my client but she’s also one of my besties and this comes from a loving place! lol she knows this. I have had her as a client for a long time but she’s never really been the best at taking care of her extension no matter how many times I’ve told her lol today I decided to be a little bit more firmer and I think I scared her straight with the “lash mite” talk 😂 to be clear you cannot see lash mites with the naked eye. You can only see them under a microscope. What you see in the video is not lash mites technically it is a buildup of makeup, oils, and dead skin cells but lash mites LOVE this stuff. Please dont feel bad when we tell you your lashes are dirty, it’s not meant to make you feel bad! We just care about you, your lashes and the health of your eyes. Not only are lash mites a concern but also your extensions may not last as long and you can also get an infection. I recommend you wash your lashes with a lash cleanser (not baby shampoo or hand soap! 🤦🏻‍♀️) and cleansing brush every single day if you wear makeup every single day. You can get away with skipping a day or two assuming you didn’t wear makeup but if you know you were outside in the dust wash them, if you went to workout and had tons of sweat dripping down your face WASH THEM, if you went swimming in a nasty lake WASH THEM.
