My Dr told me when I asked for a tubal she said okay..I said you're not gona ask me if my husband is okay with it, she said it's non of his business, if you want no more kids you want no more kids....

Only 1 kid and wanted to get my tubes tied, my doc said my husband had to sign off...so I found a female Doc and she said "Does Monday work for you?" 2016 and No ragerts!

Another reason women get is not just your husband might want more kids but also if your not married your future husband might want kids.

My OB asked me at 36 if I was sure I wanted to prevent my husband at the time from having his own child! This was after a miscarriage almost killed me and after 14 total miscarriages.

Had to have my husband’s permission and medical reasons I wanted my tubes tied. I was 25 and on kid number two. The doctor asked me a thousand times.

The difference in care from Louisiana to Oregon was staggering. I’d leave appointments in tears after being told over & over that i’d change my mind. First appt in OR, doc was ready to schedule.

I had to have my tubes removed in order to GET pregnant (because endometriosis, before IVF) and my husband still had to sign a paper saying he was ok with me having them removed ✌️

My preg. with my DD almost killed me. My OB suggested termination for my health (heart&other), full bedrest entire pregnancy. Had c-section, SHE REFUSED tubal ligation bc I was 25 & baby was a GIRL.

I had my son and wanted to tie my tubes wasn't allowed because I was too young, didn't have children of both genders, had my daughter had to wait to 25, waited to 25 and it wasn't gonna be approved...

Yep it happened to me after I left my ex husband. I was 35 at the time & my doc clearly said to me "you just got out of a long term relationship, you never know you may want another child" 🙄🙄🙄

took over 10 years with extreme Endo begging for it. wasn't until I was married and they made him come in twice months apart to even consider surgery. never wanted kids. hubs agreed with that. 1/2

Was 20 when I had my son. Wanted tubes tied. Doctor told me no and that I'd have more kids. Turns out my ex-husband said no. Had an abortion at 30. 42 now, can't take BC. NO has affected my life.

They wouldn’t give me a hysterectomy that I needed until I was 32, had two kids, and hubs agreed. I bled so much each month I almost needed transfusions. I got no help until a man said yes.
