Hey so I’ve gotten a intrusive thought about harming myself and it scared me a lot and still is scary to even hear the word su*c*de I try and ignore it by playing video games or working out but should I sit with the thoughts or avoid??

It took me so long to realize/accept that my "cancel out" thoughts that followed the obsessions were actually compulsions and then evrything I thought/tried not to think felt like I was doing it wrong

I have intrusive thoughts and i feel so much guilt. I don’t like to think that way but it comes so randomly. It’s worse at work because I’m in a high stress environment.

Idk why but accepting I don’t have “freewill” tremendously helped my OCD, if thoughts arise out of my conscious control, they are automatic mental events that don’t really reflect anything about me.
