the sitting water in the floor drain could just be a S trap , I suggest pouring water down there every few weeks because if it dries up it can let sewer gasses back into the house .

We were advised to pour a little bleach in the washer drains (especially during summer) 1x a month. Same with the AC drain tubey things that are outside (white pvc for us… just kinda sticks up)

The hose that goes down the drain behind the washer may be too long! Obviously ask a professional, but that was the cause of the smell in our old house! Plumber cut the hose shorter and solved the issue

the floor drain would have a p trap like any other drain in the house. water would be expected to sit in there
