If you listen to the sound. You hear the 4th car hit the 3rd, then the 3rd hit the 2nd and the 2nd hit the first. Meaning the only car that failed to stop in time was the 4th.

If you actually watch the video you see cars 1&2 stop safely then 3 hits 2 into 1 and then 4 hits 3 into the others.

Been in a similar situation. Ours was front car. Stopped perfectly fine. 2nd car stopped perfectly fine, van 3rd in line didn’t. This was 2021. Our insurance sorted our car straight away….

You were lucky not to go in back of truck in first place, notice car behind didn't need to slam his brakes on as was driving with safe stopping distance.

It’s a 3 car collision. The van wasn’t involved. You were following too close. The last car wasn’t watching and is at legal fault.

dashcam owner travelling too close to lorry with children in the car too, you cant see in front of lorry so keep back and keep your children safe, put on hazard lights and keep checking mirrors

Looks to me like it's car 3's fault for damage to 1 & 2, they definitely stopped in time, 4 must have been too close to 3 so liable for rear damage to 3
