Day 18 - I was not expecting this development this soon AT ALL. But Princess finally let me pet her!!! It was so nice to finally show her some love. I knew she’d be such a sweet, loving girl. But unfortunately she is still meowing non stop. She’s pretty quiet during the day but is very vocal and destructive at night. The vet said it was okay to leave her in this room but I’m starting to think maybe the bathroom would be better…I just don’t want to keep changing things on her either, especially when she’s still not eating. I know her not eating is a huge concern, and trust me, I am worried constantly. I’ve tried so many things but she just won’t eat. I know there are a lot of contrasting opinions on what I should do, and I’m truly not sure what is best. There’s also so many contrasting answers when I do research. The vet said to just give her time, and I’m trying to do that, but I’m just not sure if I’m making the right choices. I feel so guilty. Then on the other hand, she’s starting to trust me more and I can get pretty close to her, at least a lot closer than before. I know this is going to take time, and I’m not giving up, but this is so hard.
