Why is the idea that 500 people saw the risen Christ an impossibility? Other than the 12 core disciples he had other disciples who followed him & to whom Jesus appeared to over a period of 40 days

Doesn’t Paul say most of the 500 witnesses were still among them? Whether it happened or not, the text says the witnesses existed.

Considering that John wrote Revelations in order to around BC 64-66, he would have absolutely included that fact to reinforce the truthfulness of the resurrection.
