I had a little date night with my love this past weekend at a restaurant I used to wait tables for. It was one of 3 jobs I had at the time, and I would use my 5 minute bathroom breaks to post at what I thought and hoped was “optimal posting time”. And then carried on working 7 days a week. After covid, I was personal training and tutoring, constantly driving around to 4-5 cities a day to meet up with my clients at different gyms and schools and homes. Then when I felt myself struggling to get out of sinking into what I felt like was another rock bottom chapter, I dropped everything and got a one way ticket to Europe, hostel hopping on my own through 10 countries. I came back, decided I still wanted to make content creating happen, and started driving for Uber and Lyft so that I had a flexible enough schedule to go to the gym and post consistently. Eventually I was blessed and rewarded when preparation was met with opportunity after opportunity, and my dream became a reality one at a time. And it’s been so crazy to witness myself having so many full circles moments recently. The way I could now enjoy a meal at a restaurant I spent countless hours working so hard at, clocking in the maximum of 15 minutes allowed each shift to make any extra income, to joining the Darc Sport family, a company founded in Torrance, California, the very city I was born in and later volunteered at for 4 years (Torrance Memorial Hospital), to getting to be a part of the biggest Darc fam celebration at the USC Coliseum, the university I earned my degree from. I. Am. SO. Lucky. And just so so infinitely grateful. Because what the heck. To have had conviction that whatever I work for will only be a matter of time until I reach my goals, and to have the love and support to keep me going and keep me motivated and disciplined to make the most of each opportunity life gifts me with. I happy cry just thinking about how lucky I am to be surrounded and supported by people so full of love for me and how I get to do life the way I do. I’m so thankful. Thank you for being here and for being a part of my unfolding. This is still just the beginning 🥹💛💫
