If it had hit his glove first before going over the wall it would be a home run, but it hit the wall first, in play, it’s a ground rule double.

They also need to change the rule that if the ball is caught while diving and the player ends up over the fence it’s not an out. It needs to be a HR.

The face of the wall is no different than the ground in baseball rules. This wouldn’t be a catch either.

It's a rule double. Ground rules are specific to a particular stadium.

I think it’s the right call bc it hit the wall then in his glove then over the fence if it went off his glove then off the wall and over the wall it would be a homerun I think it’s the right call

It is a ground rule double, the ball already bounced off of the wall (a ball still in play) and then it was kicked out by the player, as opposed to bounce off of the fielder out the field
