Respectfully, I would challenge that. If you think unconscious bias doesn’t exist, it means you believe you’re either fully aware of all your own biases or have none, both are unlikely.

well if I did that it's because I would would want to stare unobtrusively, because a. I see you from tiktok, and b. sorry, but you're tall and imposing and I'm short and I don't want to get a crick in my neck, staring. my niece says I miss social cues, but I don't mean it rudely. 🥰

It's also called implicit association, when two things become associated with each other, it's a psychological phenomenon. It's a real thing, but it's not an excuse
