you need to pay your levy subject your next hdb purchase is BTO.

if gov really wants to help people, grant should not be given into CPF OA, it should be paid directly to HDB (direct subsidy) so that future if you sell HDB, u won't need to lock more cash into CPF .

Taking the grant as first timer for the buying the resale HDB flat then no need to return if you get a BTO flat in the next after pocketing the profits on your first buy the resale flat ?

Yes gov don't take back, if you take grants let say $40k for your 4rm now but when you sell and buy another new flat the Levy is $40k. So no different as you still lost your $40k

I got 20K grant for my resale flat after 20 over years, after Sales of the flat I required to pay 20K cash (as levy) in order to collect my BTO keys. Where does the 20K levy came from?😞

As long u buy bto...Once u buy 2nd subsidy bto,needs pay levy to gov,n oso put back your grants in OA, there's no free lunch in singapore 😔
