@humanebroward: Welcome to the Humane Society of Broward County! ❤️ We’re excited to introduce our 8 little Hurricane Debby evacuees! 🌀 On Wednesday, August 7th, our staff traveled to Taylor County, FL, to rescue these 8 dogs who were in urgent need of help. The shelter in Perry, Florida, lost power and experienced flooding in the dog kennels. Along with three other Florida shelters, the Humane Society of Broward County accepted these animals to provide them with the care they need. 🙏 These young adults were already up for adoption before the storm, but one dog requires medical care as he is severely underweight. Thankfully, all the dogs have settled in well and are now ready for adoption! Our veterinary clinic has examined each pet to ensure they are safe and healthy. 🐶✨ A huge thank you to everyone who helped with this transfer, making sure these animals feel safe and loved while they await their forever families! 🐾✨ To meet one of our adoptable pets, please complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
