It’s blatantly IRRESPONSIBLE. I’m a DV survivor and this is so upsetting. I wouldn’t get within a mile of this movie or the book. But. I know! Tricking people that can be traumatized is vile.

I read the book so I clearly knew what I was walking into and I was triggered all day thinking about seeing the film so I could not imagine walking into it blind.

I witnessed DV with my parents, it scarred me for life. I was going to go see this movie bc I thought it was a rom-com. The PR (besides Justin’s) was extremely irresponsible.
