@indraneerajah: In Budget 2024, the Government announced a $1.9 billion enhancement to the Assurance Package to provide cost of living support for Singaporeans. The enhancement brings the overall support package to more than $10 billion. The support is being disbursed in various ways throughout the year. The latest support comes in the form of $200 - $400 in cash for the Budget 2024 Cost-of-Living (COL) Special Payment in Sep. Meet 73-year-old Mdm Lam - she and more than 2.4 million Singaporeans will be receiving this special payment next month. This will provide additional cost of living relief for Singaporeans, especially lower- to middle-income groups, over and above the other disbursements through the year.
