in my household, if a cat is laying on you and you're asked to get up for any reason, you just say comfy kitty and you're immune to having to do anything. it's the comfy kitty rule

whenever we travel no matter where or how close it is to where we live, if one of us is being moody without reason, doesn't want to collaborate with the whole trip planning and is just having an overall bad attitude we give "nobility titles" like when we went to Italy my sister kept complaining about everything and acting like a brat so now she's "miss Italy"

My daughter still follows this at 25. They're not allowed to open a box of snacks and they're not allowed to eat the last. This ensured me getting at least 1.

In our house someone yelling “MEDIC” means grab bandage material immediately and run to wherever they are, my dad is really accident prone, if he can come ask for help he’s ok

The loud noise is true here as well... Warn the other if a planned loud noise is coming, and yell "I'm OK!!" if you make an unplanned... Also if there is a loud noise and no warning or OK, we go check

Loud noise I’m okay rule in my house growing up. If you did it fast enough Mom (midnights nurse) wouldn’t even wake up enough to remember it but if she called your name and you didn’t answer? Oofta.
