When ppl used to ask me why I was unmarried etc., I would look very sad and say, "Because nobody ever loved me," and then float away. Made me laugh, and hopefully they learned something!

additionally I like to pretend to cry or scream or something to drive home how traumatized that question left me. I like to cause a scene to embarrass the person who asked so much maybe they never ask

💯 It also trains people. ~10 years ago, I asked a guy "no kids?" He said they both want kids, but his wife wouldn't survive pregnancy due to a heart condition. I don't ask anymore.
