Jip, that's a cheetah right behind my guest 😁 She's smiling as big as what she is, because it's an incredible experience to be a part of! Now I know that this may seem dangerous, and that some of you may feel we are intruding. Truth be told, these cheetahs do not see us as a problem, a threat, an irritation. They accept us for what we are - a temporary visitor that's accepted and welcome. That's all. Cheetahs are not aggressive by nature and personally, l've never heard of a life-threatening attack by a cheetah on any human. So, we are safe and the cheetahs are not subjected to any stress during these kind of encounters. These cats are not tame, nor hand raised. We can't touch them, or play with them. They are wild, and walk an area thousands of acres in size. They hunt freely and produce cubs, raise them, feed them, protect them. These cats are as wild as wild can be. It's just that over time, they've grown used to us, and allow us to view them on foot, up close and personal. It's incredible, mind blowing in fact! It's much the same as Mana Pools, where I walk with elephants, lions, wild dogs and more. They've grown accustomed to people walking with them, and accept you into their world. No difference really. Same goes for places like Alaska with bears fishing for salmon, or pumas in Patagonia. These animals allow you to get remarkably close to them, willingly. It's incredible and shows the trust they extend to us. I hope you can see it for what it is, an experience and encounter, unique in every way, with one of our planet's most incredible animals! #reels #africa #fyp #cheetah #safari #photography #fypシ #animal
