A guy I use to shoot 3-D tournaments with had an arrow blow up and impale his forearm about 7 inches deep! It was gnarly!

Been there. Have 80 lb too. Maybe arrow too light? Arrow previous damaged?. Destroyed my limbs. Bow tech fixed mine for 100 bucks. I was very pleased with their support.

Watched a dude at our local bow range run bout 6-7 inches of splintered up arrow into his forearm from an arrow blowing up. Not good lol

I'll bet you had a branch inside the path of your string and it derailed looking at how it chopped the branch but not a good angle to be sure
