Some of the info on each step : 🧠 Checking the global brand database for logos You can upload your own logo to this and search for other trademark logos based on conceptual similarity. This is just to make sure that your clients logo isn’t infringing on another brand 🧠 Checking colour contrast This is something I learned from @color.palette.studio and the contrast checker that I’m using is also from Color Palette Studio! You wanna make sure that your contrast level is 4.5 or above to ensure that it’s accessible! (You can even face legal penalties if your website doesn’t meet the guidelines) 🧠 Explaining your design decisions It’s important to let your clients know what you were thinking when you designed their visual identity. This helps them understand the strategic side of the visual identity rather than just it looking good for fun. 🧠 Mock-ups!! Mock ups are a really great way to show your client what their new visual identity might look like in real life . It’s easy to look at a logo on a computer screen or a piece of paper and say whether it’s good or bad. The true test is whether it stands for all the stationery, packaging, signage, etc. What are some of your rules that you follow before sending a brand to a client? I’d love to hear them! - - - #branddesign #brandingtips #clientpresentation #logodesigner #designstrategy #graphicdesign #branding101 #logotips #brandidentity #designprocess #designcommunity #SmallBusiness #freelancedesigner #creativebusiness
