Oh 100% the pinky promise is the only way to go. But sometimes I do wish a website would just tell me my password. Especially when I try to change it and it says “cannot be your old password”.

I always dreamt of one, where if you type in your password, and it is wrong, but kinda close, it will tell you how many characters you are off by and encourage you to keep trying.
