People ask “why is she so big?” So here’s the answer: Christa’s body did not function like a healthy, normal human body. She didn’t have an issue with weight until she had an infection in her intestines that led to a bowel resection. When that happens, nothing can go into the intestines for a while. So how do you live without food/formula? There is something called TPN. It feeds the body through veins instead of the stomach/intestines. After she had TPN for a month, her weight kept increasing unexplainably. Her GI doctor did all he could to get the “right” formula dosage to not increase her weight. She also barely moved so there was no “burning off weight”. There’s the answer. I appreciate those who genuinely want to know. I do not appreciate those who completely lack empathy saying “why is she so fat?” Or “are we gonna talk about how big this baby is?” If you have to say it like that, please just shut up and keep your insensitive, unkind thoughts to yourself. For posts about Christa and any other child or adult you see who is “obese” because you do not know the full story, and your comments are unnecessary and rude.
