I have an 05 6.0 and I have always been told to run motor craft 10w30 superduty oil. It has gotten hard to find here so I switched to cat 10w30. But i have always stuck with 10w30 not 15-40

My stock 6.0 don’t seem to like T6 5w40. I run petro can 5w40.

look up Chevron delo blue bottle, specifically formulated for HEUI fleet 👌 helps a lot with stiction. hot shot secret is very good product or some good ole fashioned 2 stroke oil in secondary fuel

You got to run some archoil AR9100 in oil and AR6500 in fuel I had the same problem and one I used that it went away after 30 miles

Is it just the smoke your worried about? I switched from motorcraft to t6 and my 7.3 ran way better.

Warren diesel gives you a sheet with their injectors that says not to run rotella. Shaeffers or Mobil delvac

T4 or delo found at Walmart or run amsoil if your fancy. But use archoil or hotshots in your oil helps with injector life
