omg we thought my mom had SHINGLES hers were so aggressive and rashy!!! the immediate care doctor told her about the cicada mites and we were so relieved 😂

I was wondering why the bites itched wayyy more than normal . cortisone didn't help w/itch but my magnesium spray for pain did!

I thought they were mosquito bites, but normally mosquitoes leave me alone. And they aren’t round bumps. Ugh!!

whoa!! I developed cellulitis this past week at the beach in SC where cicadas are. I ended up in the ER! IV antibiotics and a prescription. My hand swelled to almost twice its size. No clue

I tried hydrocortisone and Benadryl to no effect (and was wearing bug spray when I was bit). My nurse friend said calamine lotion worked for her!
