@shotpoles: Powell Forest Canoe Route, Day 2. A very much needed slow start to the day. We packed up and left camp at around 11am with a pretty chill day of paddling ahead. Our first portage from Lois Lk - Horseshoe Lk was gruelling though- so much weight in our food barrel, and we also had cast iron pans 😬 The one thing I'm not accustomed to in BC is shared campgrounds; one site with a bunch of tent pads, whereas in Ontario one site was all to yourself. We were first to the campground thinking it was all ours, so we picked the best (and largest) spot, but this came back to bite us in the ass when a large group rolled in and asked us to move- so we set up our tent on a floating dock. 🤷♂️ View was nice though. #outdoorlife #adventuretime #outdooradventures #explorebc #explorecanada #canoe #canoecamping
