@shotpoles: Powell Forest Canoe Route, Day 3. Sleeping on a floating dock turned out to be less than ideal... I think we all felt a bit wobbly in the morning. 😵💫 We were up early and hit the water just as the sun crested over the mountain behind us. Paddling up Horseshoe Lk and Nanton Lk was serene as we paddled on a mirror the whole way. That's when the fun stopped and the suffering began with a 2.4km portage through Canada's version of jungle forest to Ireland Lk.
