@myadhddoc: Dont give into the stigma! Treating your child’s ADHD should be seen as treating a child’s asthma! Both are medical conditions that keep someone from their full potential! #adhdparents #adhdparenting #adhdtiktok #adhdmedication #adhdawareness #parentingtips
My son is now a senior in high school, and we put him on medication when he was in first grade. It took me a long time to stop feeling like I had failed him. Wish I had heard this message then!

I feel like the hardest hurdle is the trail and error with medications, do you have recommendations on how to make this easier?

My mum didn’t believe we had ADHD and our behaviour could be controlled by diet 🙄 diagnosed at 37 & I feel like I wasted so much potential

My mom and husband don’t understand why I give my child medication. And I tell both of them that I wish that I HAD been given medication instead of struggling my entire childhood.

My son is in college because of medication that helps him focus. It’s still a constant struggle but much more manageable. ❤️

I needed this. My son is in first grade and just diagnosed with adhd 1 week ago. We start meds in 1 week, and I’m feeling so down on myself.

Love this! I don’t feel guilty, but people TRY to make me feel guilty or judge me. My 7yr olds teacher said to me

I 100% think not bein on medication as a child was better for me How I felt as a child on the medication is nothing what I feel like now it made me feel dead as a kid As an adult it makes me feel calm
