It’s yellow because they used to have “editors notes” in yellow boxes around frames with things needed context/definition/etc. Wades speech is not only to the other characters, but directly to us too!

i thought it was because narration is typically done in yellow tinted boxes so deadpool was either both speaking to characters and narrating to us
