Tbf my doctor never asked about my husband's permission. He wouldn't have given it but I was getting my tubes removed. I had two kids and was in thirties.

I'm in Australia, unless it is medically necessary the age is approximately 40 but you don't need permission from anyone but yourself. I was 37 when I got my tubeligation and I had two kids 7 and 8

I have a friend who has wanted to get her tube's tied for years. The most recent excuse was "Your fiance might be okay with it but what if something happens to him and your next husband wants kids"

I had both of my sons in Catholic owned hospitals and they would absolutely not allow tubal ligations in their hospitals. That's just as crazy.

this happened to me in uk in 1988. i had 3 children but was "only" 25 and 2 separate docs said i was too young to make that choice. that i might change my mind or my husband might want more!

Do: Woman goes to ER with severe stomach pain and they do blood work only and sent home. told to see PC. then husband goes in for stomach pain and gets CT scan. 2 wks apart. wife...still no diagnosis.

When I was filling out paperwork for my hysterectomy a question on the form was does your husband agree with this procedure? I said when he has been bleeding for 58 days straight out of MY uterus he can then have an opinion.
