African net sponge is the way forward. Best for cleaning your skin and doesn’t harbour the same bacteria like washcloths, so don’t need to change for a new one everyday.

an allergist told me I should stop using a wash rag and african sponge. I looked at the dirt ring around the wrist of her lab coat like... okayy🫠😬

Maybe it's a first world thing. I grew up in South Africa and we used to have a dettol bath and use wash cloths. Plus bathe twice a day.
