Add enough water to cover the cherry tomatoes. Add sugar and simmer for 30 minutes or until tomatoes are soft—mash tomatoes with a spatula. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing to extract liquid and garlic. Discard remaining solids. 4. Reduce the strained tomato liquid until thickened. Add grated Parmesan cheese generously—season with salt and pepper. 5. Keep warm while finishing Gnocchis.  Gnocchi (makes a bit extra): - 4 russet potatoes - 1 egg - 150-200g flour - Sea salt Process: 1. Follow simple recipe instructions online for making gnocchi. 2. Once cooked, add directly to reduced tomato sauce. Add more Parmesan cheese before plating: taste and season.
