I understand that people seek some explanation or compensation for a bad thing. But the government can’t be held liable for trying to fix something such as this. This will be struck.

From what I understood it was the calling it safe that was the issue not the alternative supply itself.

that sucks. no one cares that it's safer and costs less for everyone in every way. opponents just think 'it's bad to legalize drugs' but none of us normies know the nuance deeper than that TBH

I agree with it to some extent ... the doctors made my mom an addict and I'm pretty sure that she can and has overdosed on prescription drugs. Just saying. There should be more resources to help.

Government created a new form of drug trade that didn't exist before. They are 100% responsible.

looks to me the parents were not very good and don't want to take accountability for theirs mistakes and try to blames someone else.
They just sell their “safe supply” to the dealers and get 2x toxic supply. Dealer takes “safe supply” makes 10x toxic supply. Dealers are laughing hard

I suspect that filing this lawsuit is primarily so some group can benefit from the fund raising around it …

Imo, this is a very slippery slope. With what i understand. How can or does anyone discern from safe or non-safe drugs? Who actually knows which were taken. The takers being minors. Interesting...

I have interviewed high-ranking gangsters who buy a safe supply of drugs from addicts to re-cook them to sell on the street. It's a big industry.

It all started in the 70s. Thanks to big pharma saying it’s not addictive and got away with it for years
