I got done in for 60k similar situation but yeah i know the feeling all to well. I even asked a traffic cop who was there on the day i bought it and he confirmed all is good. Then 3 months later the car turned out to be reported stolen by the previous owner... The guy i bought it from sent him fake proof of payment. But yeah cops confiscated the car and I'm 60k in the red.
