It isn't just Amish - several of these points apply to other PM breeders or hoarders, the stacking, the crates, most of it. We rescued a hoarder/PM dog 5 months ago. Still can't touch her

Apparently there’s dog auctions. A puppy mill I closed down while an ACO told me she got all her shih tzu from one in Missouri

We have a doodle rescue, treated horribly by them, it’s been 3 years and she’s still so scared of everything has no muscle to jump because of being in the cage so long , it’s disgusting what they do

1)My rescue pittie came from the same situation. She never played with toys bcz she saw them as unpredictable. Hated men. They banged on the crates so her prison was actually the safest place to be.

Same thing with hunting dog puppy mills. The dogs are kept in small cages all year till hunting season.

Amish puppy mills? Where have yall been for YEARS? it’s not puppy mills. It’s just puppy breeding. The kids kick them and beat them for fun! We have had 3 over the year from Amish county.

I cannot stress this enough- KNOW YOUR BREEDER! A lot of people who buy puppies have no idea this is where their pup comes from. It’s sickening! We need to put these people out of business!

My baby came from one of the Amish puppy mills in Ohio (via an Humane Society adoption after a raid). Its awful in Ohio (esp Holmes Co). Glad to have saved one.. wish more could be done.

I live in Canton Ohio and it’s so bad around here. The Amish think they are like cows/sheep. The Amish around here take their used up Moms and puppies that aren’t up to their standard to the shelter

I rescued my English Bulldog she had litter after litter when she couldn't have any more pups they wanted her gone. She was extremely thin and was very skittish I'm so glad I saved her life. ❤️
