Thats one of my pet peeves...like I dislike people who throws the word 'love' around so easily..I am the type who will not say it unless I mean it to my soul & when I do..that love last forever

😅 I don't say "love you" easily, but heck, when someone says it to me I take it as a compliment. I view it as some people just love more or easier than others and there's nothing wrong with that.

I met a guy at my workplace for a week, related like normal work colleagues during this time only for him to randomly tell me he loved me at the gate of our workplace, he was waiting for a response

ok so what do they say when they are emotionally connected and actually in love? seeing how I love you is so freely giving so easily.

OK, that’s why cause I dated. This guy who was Korean and with the third date, he want me to text him every minute and if I don’t text him at least half an hour or something like that, he would get mad I was confused😂😂😂 I had to let him know it won’t work

all us women saying "red flag 🚩" or "throwing the word love around so easily freaks us out" love is different for us, it's scary, feels like a trap if a man says "I love you" quickly 😬

Omg he's right, I say I love to my friends and family, but a German girl took it literally and I had to explain that in this context, it meant that I appreciated her friendship more than most

Try using words with them like: I had a good time, I enjoyed our time together, I would really like to see you again, NOT I LOVE YOU ON A FIRST DATE! 😳 (they will be 🏃‍♀️far far away!

In Ukraine we have two different words which means "Love". Кохаю -only for your boyfriend/husband or girlfriend/wife (we say it when we really Love that person). Люблю - for parents, friends,... .

That's why in Italian we have two different ways to say "I love you", one for family and friends (ti voglio bene) and one for lovers (ti amo).

In Spain "the quiero/te amo" is used as "I like you, You're the best, I'm touched" too (the tone is key) so I always clarify what "I love you" mean for diferent cultures when talking just in case 😅

As someone who english isnt my first language, saying I love you isnt a big deal, but saying it in my native language def is. «I love you»:I like you and im interested in you.
