One year my pool pump broke and I vacuumed and shocked the pool so much until the new one came. I did not want that pool to turn green. It worked! But it was so much work.

PS have you seen the bog filters someone else had a pool that color couldn’t get it clean with chemicals so they made the bog one, worked great!💜

I thought you turned the pump off with shock, so it would cause the dead algee to settle. then vaccine it up (not an expert)

We dealt with this all the time! When we got a new filter, we have a salt, water filter, and our life has been infinitely better! We don’t have to mess with chemicals almost at all anymore

Did you backwash in between? Mine has been shut off for a couple of days bc a part broke and it’s starting to not look so great…hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow…i have shock ready to go
