The events leading up to Jason’s death are deeply concerning. On December 13th, after taking an excessive amount of Adderall, Jason left our home and was involved in a car accident. Following the crash, he reportedly hijacked another vehicle and drove towards Winchester, where he crashed again on Star Tannery Road. Despite an extensive search by authorities, Jason’s body was not discovered until April 29th, 1,251 feet from the crash site. The initial search, led by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, did not begin until three weeks after Jason went missing. Moreover, the search was limited to only a 25% radius from the crash site, and we believe this search was not conducted in a thorough or comprehensive manner.
