I assume if you had heated the pan a little more first it may have cooked faster? Since you normally cook directly on it I think the extra layer slowed you down 😂

why not cook your ground beef right on the griddle and just pre-boil the noodles? then combine it all(seasonings, noodles etc) on the griddle?

takes forever we were camping and I did mashed potatoes we ate before they finished 🤣 forgot to bring our burner lol never again but heating a pot of beans doesn't take too long though

you need a cast iron pan to do that. Teflon pans don't generate heat that way
